For most new or stand-alone last-minute requests (less than 72 hours’ notice), a 20% rush fee helps me rearrange my existing schedule and priorities to ensure your show is covered smoothly and effectively. I’ll always confirm availability and any fees clearly upfront. However, if I’m already on tour with you and you need to add an extra show to our current schedule, that 20% rush fee typically wouldn’t apply, unless the new addition would directly prevent me from meeting other confirmed deadlines (like delivering photos from your previous shows on time). My goal is to be your ‘low effort’ creative partner, especially when we’re already on the road together.

For single shows, booking 3-4 weeks in advance is ideal, and for tour packages, 2-3 months helps ensure I can reserve all your dates. That said, I understand things move fast in the music world! If you have a shorter notice request, please don’t hesitate to reach out. If my schedule allows, I’m always happy to try and accommodate you. And if I’m genuinely unavailable for your dates, I can often suggest another trusted photographer from my network to help you out. My aim is to be as flexible and helpful as possible.

For shows within Belgium and the Netherlands, I am generally self-sufficient for transportation and accommodation. For engagements further afield, it’s standard practice for travel and basic, safe accommodation to be arranged and covered by your team; we can, of course, discuss the simplest and most effective way to handle these logistics. When I travel with you on a tour package, my time is structured to ensure all aspects of your visual needs are met. This typically includes: Show Coverage Days: Days dedicated to photographing your performances. Tour Work & Travel Days: Days focused on essential tasks like editing, content management, and necessary travel between tour stops. We’ll agree on an appropriate day rate for each type of day when discussing your tour package, ensuring all work is fairly compensated.
